Electric Head
Light weight and with the height adjustment properly set the spinning agitator does much of the work on the push stroke where effort is most pronounced. The over molded nozzle body has soft non-marring surface to protect your base boards and furnishing from marks and damage.
Agitator
The CT20 has a chevron brush pattern in the agitator. This pattern pulls debris from the outer edges to the center of the brush where it is more easily captured by the air stream. The agitator is designed to open up the carpet fibers to expose embedded dirt making it easier to be captured by the air flow. The belt that spins the agitator is inset so the nozzle has brushed edge cleaning to both sides of the nozzle. Most nozzles do not inset the dive belt.
The CT20’s height adjustment permits the owner to adjust the height of the agitator to match the carpet type for surface grooming. Set too low and the it can damage the carpets surface causing wear that does not preserve The carpets lift. Too high and it does not open the carpet fibers as desired to help capture embedded heavy dirt like sand that can damage the carpet fibers.
The wand can be drawn from the power nozzle with a simple lever allowing it to be used with one of the accessories like a crevice tool or dusting tool to get into tight spaces and along carpet edges.
