- Except molding the pot, the other parts of making pot had done manually. Surface of body or lid of the pot may have uneven parts which looks like fluid spill. Dojagi: The Korean pottery
Dojagi is pottery((ceramic and porcelain) in Korean.
Korea has over 4,000 years of pottery history, heritage inherited from Cheongja (Celadon glazed wares) in Goryeo dynasty(AD. 918~1392) and Baekja in Joseon dynasty(AD. 1392~1897) .
The left pictured one is the beautiful Cheongja plate made by hand in Goryeo dynasty.
GREATUS is made by this inherited Dojagi technique, philosophy and tradition.
Baekja: the great Korean pottery heritage
Baekja(white porcelain) and Buncheong(thicker and colorless glaze stonewares) in Joseon dynasty(AD. 1392~1897) is the great heritage to Korean pottery industry.
